Suchit Bunbongkarn, professor of political science and director of the Institute of Security and International Studies at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, has been appointed chairman of the Counter Corruption Committee by the National Assembly. He was a member of the Constitution Drafting Assembly that gave birth to Thailand’s 1997 Constitution and has served as an advisor to former prime minister General Prem Tinsulanond.
