Quentin L. Quade is professor of political science at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he has also served as dean of the graduate school and executive vice-president. His writings include over 60 essays in journals such as the Review of Politics, Freedom at Issue, First Things, Thought, and Parliamentary Affairs.
