René Lemarchand

René Lemarehand, professor of political science at the University of Florida, is currently a visiting fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. He has written extensively on Zaire, Rwanda, Burundi, and Chad. His Rwanda and Burundi (1970) received the Herskovits Award from the African Studies Association in 1971.
